Dr. Sierra Ortega was raised in College Station, Texas.
Her passion for animals and medicine led her towards veterinary medicine, and she had always hoped to be an Aggie Veterinarian one day!
She graduated from Texas A&M University in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences and again in 2024 with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. Upon graduation, she accepted a position at Stone Ridge Veterinary Center after seeing the care and dedication shown to both owned and rescued animals.
She is excited to meet and help Stone Ridge Veterinary Medical Center’s clients and patients with all their veterinary needs! Dr. Ortega’s primary interests include internal medicine, cardiology, and soft tissue surgery.
When Dr. Ortega is not working, she enjoys reading and traveling as much as possible- and working towards her goal of visiting all the national parks! She also enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her cat, Riley.
