Tests like these and others are reliable and important indicators of health. Results serve to detect problems early and establish a healthy baseline, should your pet become ill in the future. Lab work is especially important in senior pet care, for early and accurate diagnosis of age-related diseases.
When a pet is scheduled for surgery, we use pre-surgical screening tests to determine the risk of complications while under general anesthesia.

In-House Lab Benefits

Stone Ridge Veterinary Medical Center has the means to perform 95% of all testing in house. That means test results can
literally be 15 minutes away. This is especially helpful and important for sick pets. Standard wellness tests may be sent to outside labs. This cuts down on costs and results are still received quickly, usually by 8 a.m. the next day.
